Over 100 people with disabilities attended Parliament to talk to MPs about their concerns over the Welfare Reform and Work Bill.

The benefit “freeze” being put in place by the Tories will see disability benefits fall by £73.10 – including for people with Motor Neurone Disease, as campaigners talking to my colleauge Calum Kerr and me pointed out. This is despite the government promising to exempt disability benefit from benefits freezes in their manifesto.

SNP MPs will continue to push the government to keep its pledge and will oppose these vicious cuts.
