This morning I pledged my support to the charity “Remembering Srebrenica”, in their quest to commemorate the victims of the 1995 Genocide, and to educate about the need to tackle hate and prejudice. “Remembering Srebrenica” is dedicated to teaching the lessons of Srebrenica in order to build a stronger, more cohesive society.

July 2016 marks the 21st anniversary of the genocide in which 8,732 Bosnian Muslim men and boys were murdered, simply because of their faith – the worst atrocity committed on European soil since the Second World War.
