I’m pleased to be supporting HIV Testing Week 2016. An estimated one in six people living with HIV in Scotland are unaware of their status and are therefore not accessing HIV treatment.

The upcoming week will see a series of additional services, testing events and public messages aimed at encouraging more people to get tested for HIV, and to make regular testing part of their routine.

This year’s Testing Week activities in Scotland have been coordinated by HIV Scotland, Positive Help, SX, Terrence Higgins Trust Scotland and Waverley Care, in partnership with NHS Health Boards.
