Nowhere has Theresa May’s relentless pursuit of her bogus net migration target done more damage than to the families who have suffered under her draconian family immigration rules.
This is my speech from the debate earlier today and it was great to see so many MP’s there to support the debate with some very powerful and heart-felt contributions.
There are sadly far too many tragic examples of constituents who are suffering as a result of this policy and I hope the UK Government will listen to the concerns raised today and take action.
We should be prioritising the right to a family life; putting the best interests of the child first; and not making citizens have to choose between their country and their family.
